Billings Montana, Logan International Airport
Yes! Montana does not have public transit and a rental car is recommended to get around.
For the wedding mass, Cocktail Attire is requested. The reception will be held outdoors, so an extra coat and a change of shoes is recommended.
September in Montana averages about 70 degrees. However, the temperature can fluctuate and get as low as 40 degrees, so coats are recommended.
Two Options: 1. Leave the airport and drive straight to Red Lodge. There are lots of cute hotels and you can get settled in before the weekend begins! 2. Stay in Billings Friday night and then book somewhere to stay in Red Lodge Saturday night. There will be time for guests to check into their hotels in Red Lodge between the Ceremony and Reception. The drive from Billings to Red Lodge is about an hour so we recommend staying the night in Red Lodge on the 13th after the Wedding Reception and festivities.
Here are a few options depending on your schedule: 1. Red Lodge has an adorable home parish called St. Agnes that holds mass at 11 am. 2. If you are heading out early on Sunday, stop at St. Anthony in Laurel for mass at 8:45 am or 11 am on your way to the airport. 3. There are multiple morning mass options in Billings. We recommend either Saint Thomas the Apostle (8:30 am / 10:30 am) or Saint Patrick Co-Cathedral (8:00 am/ 10:30 am)
