When they first met, Tatum was leading the youth worship team at our church and Josh was running tech. They worked with each other every week and started talking. Tatum mentioned she had signed up to help with the theater portion of VBS that summer and after hearing this Josh decided he would sign up too. They spent most of the summer together, talking and getting to know one another. They shared what their dreams and aspirations were, talked about their faith, where they saw themselves in several years, ect. In the Fall of that year Josh asked Tatum to be his girlfriend and just like that, they started dating!

In 2022 Tatum and Josh stayed in New York City for Christmas. They wanted to do something fun, so they went to the American Dream Mall in New Jersey for the day and did an escape room, walked around the gnome garden, went to the amusement park, ect. Right as they were about to leave, Josh said he wanted to take a photo in front of the huge chandelier in the entrance. Walking up to the chandelier Josh started talking about how much he loved Tatum and how he wanted to make a lifetime of memories together. Before Tatum knew it he was down on one knee! Tatum shouted "YES" as onlookers at the mall clapped and snapped some photos! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in New York!
