Flight

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport

This is essentially the only airport option in the greater Seattle area. Depending on traffic, it’s about a 30–45 minute ride by Uber, Lyft, or taxi to downtown Seattle or Kirkland

Travel Note

FIFA World Cup

GOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAL! Our wedding weekend just so happens to align with the iconic FIFA World Cup, right here in Seattle! Even better, the U.S. Team will be playing in the city on Friday, June 19. The upside? Seattle will be absolutely electric. The downside? Hotels are already filling quickly. If you’re traveling from out of town, we highly recommend booking your flights and accommodations early. And if you’re staying in Seattle, plan ahead for traffic and travel times.

Stay in the heart of Seattle and discover the gems of the Emerald City! Take in the views from the Space Needle, toss fish at Pike Place Market, sip coffee at the original Starbucks, bar-hop around Capitol Hill, or catch a football game at Lumen Field. Just a heads-up—Seattle traffic can be tricky, so be sure to allow plenty of time to reach the Eastside before our 4 PM ceremony on Saturday. 😉

Travel Note

Getting Around

We recommend using Uber/Lyft ride sharing apps to get around, or the new Seattle Light Rail system! You definitely do not need a car in Seattle / Kirkland, and parking can be tricky! There is paid parking available at the wedding venue, for those who decide to drive.
