WHEN DO I NEED TO BE AT THE VENUE?

Answer

Please be at the venue no later than 1:00PM. The venue is about 2 hours away from DuBois so plan accordingly.

HOW DOES PARKING WORK?

Answer

The venue has a field where cars will be parked together in the grass. You will be directed on where to park on the day of the wedding.

WHERE SHOULD I STAY?

Answer

Under the section, “travel”, I listed some hotels near the venue.

ARE KIDS WELCOME?

Answer

If your child is invited, their name will be on the invitation. We kindly ask that parents be mindful of children’s noise levels. Be aware that there are several different ponds surrounding the venue.

CAN WE TAKE PHOTOS ON A PHONE OR CAMERA?

Answer

We have hired a photographer to capture our special moments during the ceremony, so all phones and cameras will be asked to be put on silent and away. However, photos and videos are encouraged during the reception. **We will have a QR code to make sure we can see all the wonderful photos our guests have taken!**

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?

Answer

The wedding is in September, so it can vary between warm and cold. We suggest bringing a jacket and will update more when the time comes.

WILL ALCOHOL BE SERVED DURING THE RECEPTION?

Answer

Yes. We will have a RAMP certified bar tender serving a small variety of drinks to those with a valid photo ID. Please be mindful of the fact that the venue is at least two hours away from DuBois so it is important to us that everyone gets there and home safely. Have a plan of transportation if you are planning on drinking. MARIJUANA AND ANY OTHER SUBSTANCES ARE PROHIBITED ON THE PREMISES.

Question

IS THE VENUE HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE?

Answer

Yes. If we are able to have the ceremony outdoors, the venue has golf-carts to drive our guests up to the ceremony who are unable to walk distances or uphill. If the ceremony is indoors, it will be in a chapel which right across from our reception area.
