Winterthur Access for the entire weekend
For our nature lovers! Winterthur Museum and Garden is home to more than 1,000 acre preserve of rolling meadows and woodlands. Henry Francis du Pont opened his childhood home, Winterthur, to the public about 60 years ago. Today, Winterthur is the premier museum of American decorative arts. This collection is displayed in the magnificent 175-room house, as well as in permanent and changing exhibition galleries. Since you will be our guest for the wedding just mention the Heath/Kirk wedding and you will gain free access to the entire museum, library, estate, and garden for the whole weekend!
Longwood Gardens
About a 20-minute drive from Wilmington, this beautiful place is an American botanical garden that consists of over 1,077 acres of gardens, woodlands, and meadows. It is one of the premier horticultural display gardens in the U.S. and is open to visitors year-round to enjoy native and exotic plants and horticulture (both indoor and outdoor), events and performances, and seasonal themed attractions. Be sure to buy tickets in advance!
