Terrell and Tatjana went to high school together during his sophomore year and her senior year in their home state of Louisiana. Never meeting one another, however, shared many acquaintances. He played basketball and she was on the debate team. She graduated and went to college. He graduated and enlisted in the Army. Tatjana sent him a Facebook friend request. Terrell accepted. Tatjana found Terrell’s sense of humor on social media very attractive. On October 10, 2022, Terrell slid into Tatjana’s DMs making small talk about nursing and her career. They both chatted for two days on messenger. Terrell decided that he would shoot his shot and asked for Tatjana’s phone number. From there, they begin to chat back and forth through text messaging off and on. They both resided in two different states: She resides in Louisiana and he resides in Texas. Months passed by speaking off and on. Due to the distance and career choices, Tatjana begins to portray less interest in Terrell. However, Terrell was adamant about meeting and spending time with her. Finally, Tatjana drove to Texas. On April 8, 2023 they had their first date. From that day, they have not left each other’s side. Tatjana immediately fell in love with Terrell’s eyes, smile, and kindness. For the past 3 years, they have made amazing memories together filled with much love and laughter.

Terrell had planned a surprise proposal ceremony in the month of March 2024 with family and friends unbeknownst to Tatjana. Unfortunately, plans had to be changed due to Tatjana having Covid19. On March 29 th , Terrell came to visit her in Louisiana. They were both outside assessing things around her home. In the driveway, Tatjana turned around to get his attention. Terrell was on one knee with a ring. She thought he was just being goofy and playful. She asked him to stop being silly. However, he was serious! Now, wedding plans are in the works, this quirky couple is ready to take on whatever life throws their way with love, laughter, and a whole lot of inside jokes!
