Aaron said that he was planning the engagement for a few months. He started by taking his sister, Ashley, to look at rings while I was out of town. His interaction with the owner at John Thomas was the only one he needed and he bought the ring that day. Next, it was Father’s Day and we went over to hang out with my parent’s. Aaron took my Dad to the garage where he asked for my hand in marriage; I almost walked in at this moment to ask Aaron if he wanted chocolate chips in his oatmeal cookies. Next, Aaron picked the place he wanted to propose at. He arranged with my Mom to have my sister, Evone, join us from out of town. A month before our engagement, Aaron instructed me to make sure I got off early on our anniversary for our date. He also told me to wear something nice. Aaron secretly worked with my friend, Channare to talk to my boss about getting my shift covered. He also had my friend’s Channare and Michaela take me to get my nails done without knowing the underlining plan. I had my heart set on cutting my hair and dying it pink in honor of my Mom starting chemo. Aaron got ahold of my hair dresser and told her to come up with an excuse to wait a day to cut my hair. Finally, it was the day of our third anniversary. I got out of work early and got ready for our date. I remember seeing Aaron coming down the stairs and thinking Aaron looks so handsome where are we going? We got to Casa Rodena and we walked towards a wagon while we waited for our table. Aaron turned me around from the wagon and said "Tatianna, this has been the best three years of my life and I can't wait to spend forever with you. I want you to be my wife and the mother of our children. Will you marry me”? While, he was talking to me our families were walking out to be a part of our moment.
