What is the attire?

Answer

Dress to impress! Formal attire can be chic cocktail dresses, fabulous formal gowns, stylish suits, and tailored tuxes. We want our guests to look their absolute best. The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside on the lawn and the gardens so ladies be mindful of your footwear. Dinner will occur inside the mansion.

When should I RSVP by?

RSVP early or by May 15th, 2024.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

There will be a shuttle leaving from the Hyatt Place Uncansville at 3:00pm and 3:30pm. Please arrive 15-20 minutes before the ceremony starts to allow time to find your seat. Don't be tardy for the party.

Is this an adult-only wedding?

Answer

Largely, yes! Due to restrictions at the venue, we can only accommodate children of immediate family at our wedding.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Parking is plentiful and free at Harkness State Memorial Park for guests who want to drive themselves. There will be staff directing you the event parking. The lot is a short walk to the mansion. Please allow yourself enough time to find your seat before the ceremony begins.
