We will be getting married in the beautiful Kailua-Kona area on the Big Island of Hawai'i. This place holds a special spot in our hearts, and it means the world to us to celebrate here with the people we love most. You will find full details on the "Schedule" page coming soon!
Please RSVP by JUNE 1st, 2027 so that we can finalize all the details for our big day. We truly appreciate you letting us know as soon as you can-we're so excited to celebrate together!
We wish we could celebrate with everyone, but due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Thank you so much for understanding.
Our wedding will be aloha beach formal. Think breezy, elegant, and comfortable. Light fabrics like linen or cotton are perfect for the island setting. Heels can be tricky depending on the terrain, so wedges, flats, or dressy sandals are great options!
Guests will be responsible for their own transportation. We recommend renting a car or coordinating rides in advance.
Parking will be available at the venue site, but it can be limited during busy times. The most convenient option is the Waterfront Row parking garage, located directly below and next to the venue. There is parking space also available at the church located directly across the venue. A few helpful tips: - Plan to arrive a little early to allow time to park - Carpooling or ride-sharing is always a great option - If the garage happens to fill up, there is additional street parking nearby, as well as other public lots within walking distance Because the venue is in a lively, walkable area, you may end up with a short stroll along the oceanfront.
Your presence at our wedding truly means the world to us. If you'd like to give a gift, we've created options to contribute to our travel fund and future adventures together. Memories from our future adventures together is something that feels especially meaningful as we start this next chapter. You can find more details on our "Registry" page.
We recommend flying into Kona International Airport (KOA), which is about a 30 minute drive from where we will be celebrating. Rental cars are highly recommended, as things on the island are spread out and it gives you the freedom to explore at your own pace. A few island tips: - Give yourself extra time. Things move a little slower here (in the best way). - Reef-safe sunscreen is encouraged to help protect the ocean. - Respect for the land ("aina") is important, please help us keep Hawai'i beautiful.
You can expect warm, sunny weather typically ranging in between 70-80F. It may cool down slightly in the evening and be slightly windy. So bringing a light sweater or shawl is a good idea. Sun typically sets around 7pm in July.
There are so many great options in Kailua-kona area, from resorts to cozy vacation rentals on Airbnb/verbo. We have listed a few options to consider on our "Travel" page to help make planning easy.
We hope you turn this celebration into a little getaway! Whether it's relaxing on the beach, snorkeling, exploring local towns, or enjoying amazing food, there's so much to experience. We've shared some of our favorite places and activities on the "Things to Do" page-including a few family-friendly options!
- Pack light, breathable clothing and comfortable shoes - Bring a reusable water bottle, staying hydrated is key! - Be mindful of ocean conditions and always check for safety signs - Most importantly, soak it all in. This place is incredibly special to us, and we're so happy to share it with you.
