Also known as Little Norway, Poulsbo is a quaint, themed town right on the water. Located about 30 min north of Bremerton (venue site). If you're wanting to have lodging away from the city, this would be a great place to stay! Picturesque views, yummy bakeries, crisp sea salt air!
Wanna see some big trees? Located in the hidden valley of Kitsap County, not too far from the venue, is a 1.5-mile hike to see the largest trees in the area. Perfect for all ages and a great way to spend some time outdoors.
This is the place to visit for a day trip. Daniel and Tatiana trekked here on their first road trip together and have made the journey back multiple times. Drive along the lush, evergeen-dotted coast 🌲 and visit Ruby Beach, the town of Forks, the Hoh Rainforest, and Lake Crescent. Make sure to pack snacks -Daniel
We went here on our first date! It's a colorful, lively atmosphere with music and really yummy thai food. Music may be too loud for kids during dinner. Very popular spot in downtown Seattle. Account for extra time to find parking.
Looking for trees, well look no further! This oasis inside the city will calm all your troubles, or at least that's what Tatiana felt as a new Seattle resident during her freshman year at Seattle U. The trails are easy to walk, there's always people walking their dogs, and plenty of inspiring art installations to see.
One word....GOATED - Daniel. We come here basically weekly, and are very known by the staff. The boba...amazing...the bahn mis...scrumptious. This little neighborhood gem is a must! It's just down the street from where Daniel grew up and if you love bookstores, there is a cute romance bookstore just around the corner.
Ballard holds a very special place in Tatiana's heart. It's where she lived on her own for a year and then where Daniel and Tatiana first moved in together. It's got everything! Amazing restaurants, peaceful neighborhood walks, water views, a cool movie theater, Norwegian bakeries, and so much more.
Green Lake is a must-see! This 2.8 mile loop is the perfect walking spot for people watching, deep conversations, and for when you want to feel like a true Seattlelite. Grab a coffee and a lemon bar at Cafe Urban Bakery. You won't regret it! Parking is atrocious. We recommend parking in the surrounding neighborhood, especially on a sunny day. There is a fun kids playground and plenty of bathrooms.
This is the pike place of parks in Seattle, but is worth going to if you haven't been. You get a great view of Lake Union and the downtown skyline. If you go at night, you may see fire-dancers. Beautiful on a sunny day, especially with all the sailboats and seaplanes out and about.
