Tati and Conor first met during their junior year at Union Catholic High School, but it wasn’t until their senior class trip to Washington, D.C. that they truly connected. On the long bus ride home, they found themselves sitting near each other. Casual conversation sparked between their groups of friends, full of jokes and laughter. Despite Conor spending much of the ride in a playful headlock from one of his friends, he still managed to get Tatiana’s phone number before they returned to school. A little encouragement from a mutual friend led to their first date at Jose Tejas. Coincidentally, they both ordered the same dish—chicken quesadillas—and bonded over a popular mobile game at the time that brought out their competitive sides. It was a fun, lighthearted afternoon that gave them a glimpse into how much they enjoyed each other’s company—the first glimpse of something special. Later, Conor asked Tati to prom in a unique and memorable way—handing her a Fanta bottle with the words “Wanta go to prom?” Of course, she said yes, and moments later, he asked her to be his girlfriend. Although they attended different colleges after high school, their relationship grew stronger through regular weekend visits and countless texts and phone calls. After graduating, they moved in together and adopted their beloved and sweet puppy, Iggy. Now, they continue to nurture and grow in their love together, sowing the seeds for a life filled with laughter, happiness, and shared dreams.
