Caleb and I have had the same home church for years without ever crossing paths. I knew his name and his face but nothing else about him until I started working at Chick-Fil-A Rockford in December of 2019. In the fall of 2020, he asked me to join a Bible study with him and mutual friends. During that time, I also began attending the young adults ministry at our church and gradually, he started to become a more prominent part of my life. We'd talk at work, we'd text constantly, and I'd see him at Bible study and church. Shortly before Thanksgiving, he made his feelings known to me and I suggested we not talk or text for a week so we can take time to pray, read the Bible and seek others out for Godly wisdom. After a week, our feelings had not changed about each other. He asked me to be his girlfriend on December 2nd, 2020. Towards the end of December, Caleb asked God if I would be the person he gets to marry one day. God told him "yes" and Caleb asked for the Lord to send me a dream as a confirmation for him. The next day I texted him that I had a dream we were engaged. Six months later, on June 25th, that dream came true. And we can't wait to be together forever.
