Just 15 minutes from the Hilton Garden Inn in Fort Washington and our wedding venue if you're staying on site. As a designated historic district, here you'll find some of the best boutique shopping and dining in Philly. The bakery Bredenbeck's is right on this main strip where John & Amy's wedding cake is from. We recommend checking out their pastries and taking some home!

This brewing company has a ton of outdoor/indoor seating right on the main street in Chestnut hill. They are attached to a market where you can get plenty of bites or eat at the taproom itself! Good to dog watch and enjoy nice weather.

Cake in Chestnut Hill has a great breakfast/brunch/lunch menu in a quaint, atrium style restaurant. The bakery counter looks delicious with a ton of options.
Wissahickon Valley Park
There are dozens of miles of trails in Wissahickon Valley Park, a lush, 1,800-acre gorge, crossing forest and meadow before plunging down to the sun-dappled waters of the Wissahickon Creek.
MaGerk's Pub & Grill Fort Washington
This is a local chain. They have a ton of TVs, a huge bar and good food. John said the ribs were the best he's had. Amy recommends the smash burger.
Attic Brewing Company
They have a large beer garden with food truck pop ups. We recommend coming here to try a local beer in an outdoor setting. They have a large indoor area as well if weather isn't ideal!
