Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

For those invited to the ceremony, we reccomend arriving between 3:15 and 3:45 PM to the ceremony to ensure you have ample time to park and comfortably find your seat before our ceremony begins at 4:00 PM. This will help us start the celebration right on schedule. For the reception, feel free to begin arrival at 5:00 pm to enjoy the cocktail hour. The reception will start at 6 pm.

What should I wear?

Answer

We want everyone to be comfortable and ready to celebrate, so there’s no need to go overly formal! Think sundresses, skirts, nice jeans, khakis, polos, button-ups, or a dressy top. We simply ask guests to come looking wedding ready. Please kindly avoid solid white, Ivory, and light cream colors.

Where should I park for the ceremony?

Answer

Guests who are 65 and older or may have mobility challenges can be dropped off near the ceremony seating area and park by the log cabin. All other guests should park in the main parking lot. Look for the signs as there will be many stating at the road to direct you!

Where should I park for the reception?

Answer

There is a parking area all around the hall, as well as please feel free to park on the side of the road if no parking is avalible but please refrain from parking in private home driveways.

What is a Dollar Dance?

Answer

Come up, pay $1, take a shot, dance with the bride or groom, and celebrate with us! Completely optional and just for fun

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are warmly welcome to join our wedding celebration! We kindly ask that during our first dances, children remain off the dance floor so we can share these special moments together. Once our first dances are complete, all guests, young and old, are invited to join us on the dance floor and celebrate!

Can I take photos or post on social media?

Answer

We invite you to be fully present during our ceremony by enjoying the moment without cameras or devices. Our professional photographer will beautifully capture every special detail, allowing you and our other guests to immerse yourselves in the celebration. After the ceremony, feel free to take photos at the reception, but we kindly ask that you respect our photographers and event staff, giving them space to document our day seamlessly.

What’s for dinner?

Answer

Our dinner will be a buffet with two main courses: broasted chicken and pulled pork with sides of baked beans, pasta salad, potato salad, Mac & cheese, and a side salad. Along with cake, brownies, and cookies.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have an open bar serving beer, vodka, rum and whiskey, with mixers including Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, and cranberry juice. Beer will be Bush Light, Michelob Ultra, Budweiser, and Bud Light. If you’d like something else, feel free to BYOB.

How and when should I RSVP?

Please RSVP by June 10, 2026, so we can plan accordingly. Even if you can’t make it, we’d still love to hear from you!

Why wasn’t I invited to the ceremony?

Answer

We understand that our guest list is limited, and while we wish we could include everyone we love, our ceremony venue has restricted seating and parking. We sincerely hope you'll join us for the reception, where we can't wait to celebrate together and share our joy with you!
