There is an abundance of wonderful restaurants, shops, art galleries; not to mention the beach with views of Pebble Beach. Everywhere in this area is walkable, so it is a great area to spend the day or afternoon!

Gorgeous restaurant views in Big Sur!! This historic place has great food and is a wonderful spot to post up and grab a bite to eat with some wine. You may need to wait a bit for a table, but the views overlooking the ocean and mountains are worth every minute. It's truly one of our favorite places in Big Sur.

Often called "the crown jewel" of California's 280 state parks and is considered by many as one of the most beautiful places in the state. You'll see white sand beaches, dramatic cliffs, emerald waters, wildflowers, tide pools, sea lions and so much more.
Taste your way through some of the region's best wines on the Carmel-by-the-Sea Wine Walk, a self-guided tour using a fun mobile app. If you crave more wine tasting, head inland to Carmel Valley Village which has over 20 tasting rooms all within walking distance to each other. Our favorite wineries to visit are Folklore, Bernardus, Cowgirl and Holman Ranch (of course!)
