We’ve listed hotels, lodges, and vacation rentals on our “Travel” page—Red Lodge has everything from cozy cabins to historic inns. PLEASE TRY TO BOOK EARLY, as summer weekends fill up fast!
Due to Red Lodge’s small-town charm, there isn’t a large hotel with enough rooms to offer a group block or discount code. However, we’ve listed plenty of great lodging options on our Travel page to help you find the perfect spot for your stay.
June in Red Lodge brings pleasant summer weather, ideal for outdoor celebrations. Daytime temperatures usually range from the mid-60s to mid-70s°F, with occasional highs in the low 80s. Evenings can be cooler, dipping into the mid-40s°F, so we recommend bringing a jacket or layers—especially for any mountaintop events. Now, we don’t want to alarm our Floridian friends, but Montana weather can be unpredictable. For example, on June 21, 2025, Red Lodge Mountain experienced freezing temps and even received 4 inches of snow! So, packing a jacket is a smart move to stay ahead of Montana’s whims. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for clear skies and a beautiful Big Sky Montana day!
We kindly request guests to dress in elegant cocktail or semi-formal attire to match the specialness of the day. While we love Montana’s rugged charm, please avoid casual wear such as jeans, cowboy boots, or outdoor gear. Think polished, refined, and celebratory—perfect for an unforgettable evening together.
Guests will drive to the Red Lodge Mountain base lodge, where ample parking is available. Once parked, you’ll see signs guiding you to the chairlift for a scenic ride up to the mountaintop ceremony site. For those with a fear of heights or mobility concerns, a shuttle option will be available—please let us know in advance so we can make appropriate arrangements.
After the ceremony at Red Lodge Mountain, guests will need to drive to the reception at Red Lodge Mountain Golf Course. The golf course is located at 828 Upper Continental Drive, approximately 6 miles from the mountain base lodge. The drive typically takes about 10–15 minutes. Directions: From the Red Lodge Mountain base lodge, head back down Ski Run Road to the intersection with U.S. Highway 212. Turn left onto Highway 212 and continue through downtown Red Lodge. After passing through town, turn right onto Highway 78. Approximately 1 mile later, turn right onto Upper Continental Drive. The golf course clubhouse will be about 100 yards ahead on the right.
Absolutely! Delicious food and plenty of drinks will be served. Cheers to that!
Formal invitations with RSVP instructions will be sent out closer to the big day. Please note that attendance is by invitation only—if your invitation does not include a plus one, we kindly ask that you do not bring additional guests. We appreciate your understanding!
If you have any questions, concerns, or would like to arrange the shuttle instead of the chairlift, please text Tate and Albert at (850)-524-4428.
Due to limited numbers, we hope you can appreciate that children are only invited if named on your invitation.
