Flight

Split Airport (SPU)

Split Airport (SPU) is just 1 terminal and it's unlikely you'll find a direct flight from USA. For this reason, we recommend flying to a large international airport somewhere in Europe first (Paris, Munich, London, Vienna, etc) then making the short flight to Split.

Travel Note

Getting Around

We recommend taking a taxi, Uber, or Bolt from Split Airport. "Bolt" is an Uber equivalent used in Split. This journey will take 30-60 minutes (depending on traffic) and the cost is €30-35. Alternatively, you can book a private car for pick up using the website linked below. Taxis are located at the arrival gate. Once you're in Old Town, it is very walkable and Uber is available.

Travel Note

Where to Stay

There are many hotels & Airbnb's to choose from. Ubers are cheap if you are far from Old Town. Staying near Diocletian's Palace allows you to be in the heart of Split's historic center, but Bacvice Beach and Veli Varoš are also great areas.

Travel Note

Airbnb

Airbnb would be our first recommendation as it's usually the most affordable option. If you choose to do an Airbnb, search for places in the location of "Grad Split Croatia" which will put you close to Old Town.

Hotel

Hotel Cvita

42F Ulica Antuna Mihanovića
Split, Splitsko-dalmatinska županija 21000, Croatia

A middle-tier hotel that is closest to the venue (15 minute walk downhill), and 30 minute walk/15 minute uber to Old Town. Boutique feel, with a nice breakfast.

Hotel

Cornaro Hotel Split

6 Sinjska ulica
Split, Splitsko-dalmatinska županija 21000, Croatia

This hotel is also a very nice option and central, yet more expensive.
