FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

By January 2022 at the latest, please. Thank you!

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Unless you're immediate family, we ask you to see if you could find a babysitter. If this is not possible, please let us know and we'd be happy to discuss further, as we don't want this to be an impediment to you coming!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have limited space at the venue and are trying to keep our wedding private and on the smaller side, so we ask that only our invited guests come unless previously approved. Don't hesitate to reach out with any questions!

Question

Where can I stay in the area?

Answer

There are several hotels and Airbnb's in the Culpeper area (the town right next to the venue). Please see our "Travel" page for some hotels we recommend, or check TripAdvisor!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

As of now, we do not have anything set up. Please let us know if this is an issue and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Question

Will dinner be served at the wedding?

Answer

Yes! There will be a cocktail hour with light refreshments and then a dinner at the reception.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know as soon as you can and we will do what we can, as we are still picking a caterer at this point.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony time is not set in stone, so we will get back to you on this, but it would be a safe bet to arrive about 30 minutes beforehand if you are not in the wedding party. So, for now, that's 3:30 pm est.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our recommended attire is garden attire, but flexible: so, sundresses (dresses aren't required though), floral prints, and suits in lighter hues (but any suit is fine, and suits aren't required). Basically, wear as fancy as you want, but don't wear a t-shirt -- anything between that is pretty fair game. We will be on a working cattle farm and the ceremony will be on grass, so keep that in mind.
