From Spades to Soulmates
Our story began when we locked eyes for the first time at Winston-Salem State University in 2011. I pretended I didn’t know how to play Spades, and Tashon was none the wiser. That one game turned into hours of laughter, side conversations, and the start of our love story.
From those early days on campus to late night conversations, random adventures, and growing up side by side, our bond kept deepening. We were young, figuring life out, but something about “us” just made sense.
Through moves, milestones, and the kind of ups and downs that shape real love, we always found our way back to each other—stronger, wiser, and more in love. Somewhere between sharing dreams and binge-watching shows with Kona, curled up beside us, we realized this was forever.
We are now counting down the days until we say “I do” surrounded by our favorite people. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with you!
