FAQs

The Wedding Website of Tashinga Vere and Nazjhon Silvera
Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:00PM sharp. We highly recommend planning to arrive no later than 3:45PM to anticipate traffic, allow time to park, enter the venue, and find a seat. Due to pathway layouts, all walkways leading to the ceremony will be closed when the ceremony begins. No late entry into the ceremony will be permitted.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony and reception will be held at the same venue so you only need to park once, and there is plenty of parking. Our venue will also offer complimentary valet parking.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal: tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses! If it helps, this is a ballroom setting with chandeliers and marble staircases- so look nice but feel comfy enough to stay on the dancefloor all night!

Question

Can I bring extra guests?

Answer

Though we would love to celebrate with every single loved one, we kindly ask that you only bring those formally named when submitting your RSVP. We will be more than happy to share pictures with everyone afterwards.

Question

Are kids able to attend?

Answer

Though we love the little ones too, this is intended to be a mostly adult affair, with the exception of some young adults. They will either be listed in your RSVP party or be sent their own separate invitation. Otherwise, we kindly ask that parents take this as an opportunity to go out and have some fun!

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Rather than a traditional registry or gifts, we would most appreciate a monetary gift of any amount to help us start our lives together comfortably. Please see our registry page to either contribute an amount of your choice to our general "Newlywed Fund" or treat us to a date night. Thank you and God bless you!

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

Yes! But we only ask specifically for the ceremony that you please put your phones away because we want you to be present in the moment with us. Our photographers and videographers will be tasked with capturing your beautiful faces and reactions, and we will happily share the pictures and videos with you afterwards.
