How we met...

2014 Tash and Jordan are both qualified teachers and Jordan covered a long term supply position at Tash’s school. One day, Tash saw Jordan walk by her classroom window and knew that she had to talk to him. Later that day, both Tash and Jordan were on playground duty together. Tash made small talk by asking which class he was covering, even though she already knew! The rest was history! Jordan used to bring Tash a cup of tea to her classroom every morning- any excuse to talk and see each other!

First date...

17th January 2015 After months of talking, Tash agreed to a first date. Jordan definitely went above and beyond to impress! He took Tash to London for the day. Tash met him on the train and the whole journey they could not stop talking and laughing. When they arrived in London they went for a coffee and brunch. After this, they went sightseeing with lots of stop offs at pubs and cocktail bars. When the evening came, Tash and Jord went on the London Eye. Just before getting the train home they both went to a cocktail bar in Covent Garden which was recommended by Jordan’s older sister Leonie. This is where the foundation was built for both Tash and Jordan regularly going out for cocktails. They both revisited London in 2019 but sadly the cocktail bar had been turned into a sushi restaurant. On the way back from the first date on the train fuelled by too many cocktails and pints of cider, Tash made an awful joke about the train which will stay with the couple forever. Jordan should have known from that moment what he was letting himself for. For those that know these are regularly known as ‘Tashisms!’

The proposal...

27th August 2019 After attending lots of weddings throughout the Summer of this year, the wedding bug finally hit the Blake-Seek household. Jordan and Tash were on holiday with both sets of parents in Marbella. Just like usual on holiday, all the couples arranged an individual date night. On this date, Tash and Jordan made their way into Marbella centre and they went to the Old Town for sangria and cocktails (notice the recurring factor!) After this, they headed towards the restaurant that they booked to have dinner in. Right next to this restaurant was a new English cocktail bar. They went for more cocktails (both had mojitos). Then they went for dinner at a beautiful restaurant called San Francisco’s which was recommended by The Rule family. The meal consisted of lots of different tapas style dishes. After dinner, Jordan wanted to go for a walk along the beach. They both walked for a while until they approached a lady that was sat by herself on the beach. Jordan stopped the lady and asked her if she could take a photo of them both. Once the photo had been taken Jordan asked her for “uno mas” (one of the few Spanish phrases that Jordan had learnt- the other one being una cerveza más!) He then got down on one knee and asked Tash to marry him. The whole proposal was captured on film and pictures due to the lady who just kept taking live pictures.
