Foster and Tashana met at a Christian Speed Dating event in Toronto on April 12, 2025 - Foster was unsure if he should stay at the event, but then Tashana walked in 10 minutes late, and after one glance, he decided, “Well, I guess I can stay for a little longer". On April 26th, they had their first date in Hamilton, eating Mexican food and going for a walk by Bayfront Park. Tashana instantly felt comfortable and at ease with Foster and knew there was something different about him. Foster wore his nicest shirt (a white t-shirt) and jeans, and tried not to embarrass himself too soon as he talked to this beautiful woman. They had their second date a few days later, where they did a Bachata class together (a free prize Tashana won at the speed dating event). They hit it off dancing on a rooftop patio, laughing and moving in sync, and they both knew this connection was something worth pursuing. They planned their third date for the week after, going to a movie premiere and eating pizza. One thing led another, and a month later, Foster asked Tashana to be his girlfriend. It didn’t take them long to fall in love. They spent the summer of 2025 having many adventures together and falling even deeper in love - from going to Niagara Falls, visiting Victoria, BC, watching different sports games, horseback riding, and paint night dates... 2025 was a year to remember for both of them. After celebrating her 28th birthday on December 28th, Foster surprised Tashana by proposing to her two days later, on December 30th. They can’t wait to get married in 2026 and start their lives together!
