In the early stages of dating, Ronnell told me that he knew I would one day be his wife. I laugh it off back then, thinking he was only saying it to impress me. -but little did I know he was speaking truth into existence. As time went on, our connection grew effortlessly. We became inseparable, our soul’s intertwined unapologetically falling in love, As we fell deeper in love we embraced every part of our journey - the laughter, the lessons, and the beautiful moments in between. What started as spark became a bond that felt destined. In the celebration of Valentine's Day - a day that would change everything. Ronnell told me to get dressed for the evening, and when he left the house for a while, I assumed maybe he was just out picking up flowers, like he had done the year before. When he returned, we set out for what I thought was just another special date night. Everything felt so normal; he played it cool the entire ride. As we drove Ronnell reminded me how he felt when we first met, and together we reflected on our journey. When we arrived at our destination, I was asked to wait at the door. I figured he was decorating the room - something he would do occasionally. Then I heard music playing, and he yelled "baby come in.” As I stepped inside, there he was the love of my life, down on one knee. I started shaking overly excited, because at that moment I knew exactly what was happening. It was then he grabbed my hand, looked into my eyes and asked for me to marry him. In an emotionally surprise state, I undoubtedly said yes! And that's how we ended up here - planning the rest of our lives together.
