Anto, also known as BigBawwss, had the privilege of meeting Max in College at John Abbott. While living in rez they became the bestest of buddies while “studying” hard. When Max joined the RCMP and moved to Alberta, Anto was going to miss him way too much so he followed Max east to be roomies for a couple years.

Kim and Tasha trauma bonded while studying Mental Health & Addictions at Fleming College. Kim was one of the best things that Tasha ever got out of those 3 years of hell. Even though they've spent more time living in different timezones than they have in the same one, they still make efforts to visit each other as often as possible and remain the best of pen pals when they can't.

Max met Sam the day Max was born and Sam’s big brother duties started. Sam had his work cut out for him with Max as a little brother but did his best to be a pretty good big brother and was always there to defend Max when he got in trouble… which was often.

Mack and Tasha met at Georgian College while Tasha was an RA and Mack was a student on her floor. Tasha forced her friendship on Mack through watching Once Upon A Time together and drinking questionable amounts of wine on Wednesdays.

Aaron (A-Aron) is the stray that Anto brought home from college while he and Max were roomies in Alberta. During an adventurous road trip with the 2 guys to Whistler, Max got to know A-Aron VERY well and made the brave decision to adopt the stray into his life and, eventually his house. Max has absolutely no regrets.

Teneil and Tasha met in jail... while they were both working there. This is another relationship that Tasha has with a questionable amount of alcohol involved, however, Teneil is the bad influence in this one! Teneil claims she was just being helpful by keeping Tasha's cup full...

Just like Romeo and Juliette, their love was never meant to be, but, shockingly enough, an Oiler’s fan can be friends with a Hab’s fan. This unlikely duo started their reign of terror while Max was living in Red Deer and quickly went international with trips to Iceland, Germany and Ireland as travel buddies.

Jade and Tasha met through Jade's husband, Josh, who also worked at the jail. Jade is way better than Josh so Tasha decided to keep her. Tasha's only complaint about Jade is how badly she gives Tasha baby-fever with her adorable daughter Evie.

Red Deer was a magical place for Max; it’s where he met and became close friends with the absolutely hilarious creature that is, Jeremy. Also known as Caribou Legs, Jeremy sprinkled joy over Max’s life in the form of some super sick dance moves which you will likely get to see in a few months.
