Travel Note
Tualatin is very easy to get around, and most hotels/venues offer free parking. We recommend renting a car if you plan to explore Portland, the Oregon Coast, or wine country. Uber/Lyft are widely available, but surge pricing can happen during busy weekend hours. If you plan to explore outside of Tualatin, a rental car is recommended. Summer travel is popular in Oregon — booking hotels and flights early is encouraged. Things To Do Nearby: Wine Country: Tualatin is close to Oregon’s famous wine country and some of the best Pinot Noir in the country. Top winery areas nearby: Dundee, Newberg, McMinnville Portland Day Trip: Portland is only about 20–30 minutes away and has amazing food, coffee, breweries, and shopping. Great areas to explore: Pearl District NW 23rd Avenue Mississippi Avenue Alberta Arts District Oregon Coast Day Trip: If you have time, the coast is 1.5–2 hours away and absolutely worth it.
