We're getting married!

It all started 28 years ago, Family Life Christian Church is the exact place we met. We were children then, and never thought in a million years we would ever be more then friends. It's so crazy because I always thought he was one of the coolest guys I knew. I started calling him "Bubba" as a little girl and he started calling me "Baby girl", and those names just stuck. Years went by and we grew up and apart, but for some reason we always stayed on each other hearts and minds. One day he crossed my mind, and the feeling of not getting one of those amazing hugs or hearing him say. "Hey my baby girl" for years didn't sit right with me. So I had to find him I needed to know he was ok I wanted to hear My Bubba's voice!!! Months and months went by of me searching and finally I FOUND him and reached out, not knowing what to expect. Days go by and guess what? He finally contacted me back. He was the same he had always been to me so affable, charming, polite, understanding, laid- back, easy going person. He was just as excited as I was to hear from me. During the worse time of my life we ended up reconnecting. He was my shoulder to cry on, He welcomed me and my children into his life, and told not to worry about anything. He protected me!!! It was then I fell in love with my best friend, and ever since we haven't looked back. 4 years later I have the pleasure of saying I'm marrying my best friend, my king, the love of my life, my knight in shining armor. We are not perfect, but I'm confident enough to say we are perfect for each other, and our imperfections are what makes our relationship so beautiful and special. This man has created "Heaven on Earth" for me and I wouldn't have it any other way! The future, Tasha Marie Mckenzie

Why did I propose... Besides the fact that she's smart, funny, witty, classy with a lil attitude😏 She has a genuine care for life and seeing the better in people. Her smile can light up the darkest rooms and her energy is electric ⚡ She allows me to be me and the love she has goes beyond measures. I mean, I can go on & on, but at the end of the day, she completes me 😌 She's my breath, my crown jewel 💎 and I couldn't imagine life without her... So I feel that the real question should be, " Why didn't I propose sooner?" She's made me the happiest man alive and I'm honored to say that she's mines...
