Kyle and Taryn met in January of 2021 on the Hinge dating app. After a few weeks of talking, FaceTime, and getting to know each other, the two decided to make the leap of faith and meet for a first date. The two were quite nervous, but hopeful after their first date at Cheddars restaurant in York PA, complete with some awkward side hugs. With God's help, the two quickly hit things off. Date number two a week later was much more comfortable, followed by many weekend excursions to Lancaster. With the grace of God their Love and Faith have continued to blossom.

In the weeks leading up to Christmas 2021 Kyle planned a scavenger hunt that included all of Taryn's favorite things! Early in the morning on Christmas Eve (Once Taryn wasn't on call!) Kyle woke Taryn up and led her through clues written in Dr. Seuss rhyme that involved her dog, horse, coffee, family and most importantly Jesus. Even though Taryn figured things out pretty early on, she was in tears by the time he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him!
