We swiped right! LOL Taryn was finishing her senior year at OU (boomer!) and lucked into matching with Brendon on a dating app. We knew from the moment we met that we had something special. Brendon was still living in his hometown of Edmond at the time & would come visit Taryn in Norman any chance he could. When COVID happened, Brendon was furloughed from his job & that expedited us moving in together. From living in Taryn’s college rent house, to moving into our first apartment together, to getting our angel puppy Lyla, and buying a house together, our relationship has been full of incredible memories. And now… the most special of them all, we’re getting MARRIED in front of our closest family & friends! We couldn’t be more excited to start this journey together with all of you by our sides!
Brendon planned a “date night” in Bricktown & told Taryn he wanted to take her to a cute store called Plenty Mercantile he knew she’d love before dinner. Little did she know, the store had a precious private rooftop where Brendon coordinated a photographer to hide & capture the greatest moment of Taryn’s life. We shopped around a little & then made our way up to the rooftop where Brendon was so anxious to pop the question, we barely made it up the stairs before he got down on one knee. It was the easiest Yes! of Taryn’s life. The surprise didn’t end there… after we spent some time together on the rooftop taking pictures with the photographer and awe’ing over the ring, we made our way over to Broadway 10 for dinner where Brendon planned for all of our families to be there together to surprise Taryn. It was definitely the most special night of both of our lives. Brendon pulled off the greatest surprise of Taryn’s life that night!
