Rewind to March 2013... we were both spending a weekend in the City of Brotherly Love (also known as Philadelphia!), visiting our friends. We were complete strangers at the time, out in Rittenhouse Square expecting nothing but a good night out. They always say, good things happen when you least expect it, right? Both our evenings led us to Ladder 15 where we met (thanks to our friend Robb who made sure our paths crossed at the bar!) and we pretty quickly figured out that not only were we both living in NYC at the time, but we lived at the exact same intersection in the city. Coincidence or fate? We like to think the latter! Fast forward to August 26, 2017... We had spent the last two years adventuring around NYC and getting to know each other after Sonia's move back from Evanston. On that day, Tarun had more than just a few surprises up his sleeve. Casual puzzle making on an outdoor back patio in Chelsea turned into a surprise proposal. We were lucky to have some of our favorite people in town to celebrate afterwards - it was, and always will be, by far our favorite day in NYC. Which brings us to today... We are so excited to have you join us and our families on our big day as we officially kick off the start of the rest of our lives together!
