My baby sister has such a special place in my heart. She is all I prayed for her to be and more. We’ve always had such an unbreakable bond. From all of the crazy, fun memories we have when we were younger to now having her standing by my side when I marry the love of my life, I can’t imagine anything better. She is thoughtful and kind and constantly radiating sunshine. She has always been there for me through every major and minor life event. One of my favorite things about Tristyn is her willingness to serve others. She has always gone out of her way to make other happy. She is going to do GREAT things in her life and I'm so happy that I get to be a part of the magic. I’m so thankful to have such a giving and beautiful sister like her and I’m so blessed to have her as my Maid of Honor.

I can’t imagine what I would do without Madi Breau. Madi is a natural caretaker, pursues others with diligence and loves the Lord with her every being. I’m so thankful that I met Madi my sophomore year of college and have continued making memories ever since. Madi is someone you can confide in whole heartedly, she is an intentional listener and deeply cares about you and your life. I can’t tell you the amount of times Madi and I laid on my floor in 1608 crying, laughing and talking about our days. Madi is also someone you want in your corner. She defends the people she loves and will fight for any friendship. She has always been so supportive of Derek and I and I’m so beyond excited to have her stand by my side when I marry the love of my life.

Kendall and I lived together our senior year of college. What started with a “roommate finder” facebook post, then turned into one of my most cherished friendships. Kendall is beyond selfless. She would do anything to make anyone smile and push them to be the best version of themselves. We spent countless nights our senior year watching movies, talking about our futures and of course, talking in very realistic dog voices for our pups. One thing that is so special about Kendall is that she was there when Derek and I started to fall in love, one could even say she even “called it.” She has been nothing but supportive of us since the beginning and I’m so excited to have her be a part of our wedding day.

It is only appropriate that I start this off with how I knew Annie and I were going to be lifelong best friends. Annie and I lived in the same dorms our freshman year at A&M. I asked if anyone needed a ride to chapter and Annie responded yes. Once we got in my car, Les Miserables started BLARING on my stereo. I was unbelievably embarrassed, I thought for sure she was going to think I was so weird for leisurely listening to musical theater. However, Annie started to sing along before I had the chance to change it. This is what I love so much about Annie. She has always accepted me for who I am. She’s always been my number one fan and I’m so thrilled to have her cheering me and Derek on at our wedding and for many years to come.

Anna and I have too many memories together to count. From living together for 3 years, getting matching tattoos and experiencing all kinds of different emotions and stages of life together, I couldn’t be happier to call Anna one of my best friends. Anna is such a light. When she walks in the room, you can’t help but smile and laugh with her. She shares her kindness and positive energy with everyone around her. Her strength and courage is admirable and I’m so thankful to have a friend like her that never fails to uplift and encourage me. One of my favorite things about Anna is her willingness to do anything for someone in need. If I had one word to describe Alexis it would be grace. She is compassionate and loving to anyone that crosses her path. She is also one of the strongest people I know. I admire the way she handles every situation with kindness and elegance, all the while taking care of herself and her loved ones. One of my favorite memories with Alexis was when we traveled to Alabama together for the A&M/Alabama game my sophomore year. We drove 10 hours there and back together just talking about anything under the sun. I got to know all about Alexis’s dreams and goals in life and vise versa. She inspired me everyday and I’m so blessed to have such an encouraging and supportive friend like her. I can’t wait to have her by my side on Derek and I’s special day!

Mckenzie is my second baby sister. She has been Tristyn’s best friend since they were babies, thus I assumed the “big sister” role for the both of them. Mckenzie has become an amazing and absolutely stunning young woman. Watching her grow up was such a blessing and such a cool experience for me to share with her. I always saw Mckenzie as this young girl and then she flourished into this mature, God-fearing woman. She is confident in herself and extremely compassionate towards everyone around her. I’m so proud of the person she has become and cannot wait to share this special day with her.

Nicole is one of my first cousins. She is currently a sophomore at OU and I’m so beyond proud of her. Nicole has turned into such an amazing young woman. She is thoughtful, kind and courageous. She is always thinking of others and putting them before herself. Nicole exemplifies pure joy and happiness. She is always smiling and laughing with her friends and family. One of my favorite things about Nicole is her ability to make others feel so comfortable around her. She truly has such an amazing gift to uplift and encourage others. I’m so excited to have her be a part of such an important day in my life.

Melaine is one of my first cousins. Poised and compassionate, two words that embody who Melanie is. She takes on the world with grace and tranquility, all the while adding her own sense of flare and “attitude” to the mix. Melanie has grown up to be such a beautiful and thoughtful young lady. One of my favorite memories with Melanie was when she was little and always wanted to strike a pose for the camera. There are so many photos of her in different sassy poses, it is awesome. This just shows who Melanie is. She is fun-loving and ambitious and so very confident in herself. I’m so thrilled to have her a part of Derek and I’s wedding day!

Isabella is one of my first cousins. If determination was a person, it would be Bella. She is strong-willed and confident in herself and her abilities. She is also so incredibly giving. I remember when we were young, she always wanted to help me make cookies and offer to help me clean up the “work station” as well. Bella is dependable and gracious in everything she does. She is so important to me and I’m so thankful to have her a part of this amazing time in my life.

Miranda is one of my first cousins. She is the funniest person you will ever meet. She never fails to make the whole room smile and laugh. Most of all, mimi is extremely giving. She is always doing things for others without any reward or praise. She is selfless and uses her kindness to light up a room. Mimi is the baby of the Welborn girls, but don’t underestimate this firecracker. She is going to do so many incredible things in her life and I’m so excited to support her in them.
