FAQs

Have questions about our wedding week? We've gathered answers to common questions below. If you don't see what you're looking for, please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly. We're here to help make your experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
Question

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

We love your little ones, but with the venue being alongside the New River, we've decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives you the opportunity to relax and enjoy the week. Thank you for understanding and making arrangements accordingly.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We request formal or cocktail attire. Since our ceremony and reception are outdoors in the fall, please consider the weather and terrain when choosing your outfit and footwear. To stay within our color palette, please refrain from wearing black and/or blue.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive and be in your seat no later than 4:30pm. The ceremony begins promptly at 5:00pm.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors while the reception will be held in the Barn. We recommend bringing a jacket or wrap as temperatures may drop in the evening.

Question

Will there be parking available?

Answer

There is a parking lot available for all three days of events. Please be mindful of limited transportation via Uber or taxi in West Jefferson.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We have limited space, so we're only able to accommodate guests formally invited or on your invitation. If you received a plus-one, it will be indicated on your invitation.

Question

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

Yes! We'll have a full dinner reception with an open bar. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions when you RSVP.

Question

What is the weather typically like?

Answer

Fall weather can be unpredictable. We recommend checking the forecast closer to the date.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We've hired a professional photographer to capture our special day. We kindly ask that you be present in the moment during the ceremony and enjoy the experience unplugged.
