We ask that you please RSVP by Saturday, April 6, 2024.
Our wedding has a black-tie attire dress code. We kindly request that men wear a tuxedo or a dark suit and tie, while women are invited to wear an evening gown. We respectfully ask guests to refrain from wearing attire that is overly revealing, such as dresses with very high slits or cut-out designs.
Getting to the venue is convenient whether you're driving or using rideshare services. You're welcome to drive and valet at the hotel where the event is hosted. Alternatively, if you're staying nearby, feel free to utilize rideshare services like Uber for a hassle-free journey to the celebration.
The evening's festivities will begin at 6PM with a traditional, 'Cocktail Hour' followed by food and fun during the reception until 11 PM.
There will be an open bar serving non-alcoholic beverages only, along with two (2) signature mocktails during the cocktail hour and wedding.
ZAFFE: The zaffe marks the grand entrance of the newlywed couple to their reception, accompanied by a lively troupe of drummers playing traditional and upbeat Arabic music. Both sides of the family and friends are enthusiastically invited to join in on the dance floor. The female attendees contribute to the joyous atmosphere with a spirited ululation known as zaghrouta, a traditional cheer of celebration. DABKE: At most Arab weddings, sitting down is a rare sight. The energetic folk dance known as dabke is expertly performed by professional dancers before engaging the wedding guests. Guests partake in this lively tradition by forming a tight circle, dancing shoulder to shoulder with one another.
