Camping is welcome both Friday and Saturday night! A small designated grass area will be available for tents and campers, with the parking lot available for overflow if needed. Let us know in your RSVP if you’ll be bringing a camper or tent so we can save you a spot! We’ll have someone there to help guide parking and make the most of the space. Please note: There are no water or power hookups on-site. Please fill your camper’s water tank before arriving and bring a generator if needed. There are also no outhouses or shower facilities available. Tenters will receive a code to the hall for access to the washrooms during the night. If you’d prefer hotel accommodations, the nearest towns/cities are: Hythe – 20 minutes away Dawson Creek – 45 minutes away Grande Prairie – 1 hour away If you plan to drink, please arrange a sober ride in advance, as no driving services will be available. We want you and everyone around you to get home safe, please keep our wedding day happy and fun, absolutely NO drinking and driving! Be smart and plan ahead please. QUIET & PRIVATE CAMPING OPTION For a quieter, more private stay, the Demmitt Campground, operated by the County of Grande Prairie, is located just 5 minutes west of the hall. You can reserve your spot on the County’s website. Again, if you plan to drink, please ensure you arrange a sober ride.
Join us anytime after 5:00 pm on Friday July 17th, to set up camp. We’ll have yard games and a fire going in the evening! Please note: Rehearsal will be going on from 4:00pm-6:00pm. We will join you in the camping area afterwards!
