And the rest is history

Thanks to the dating app that is meant to be deleted

What seemed like a trivial right swipe ended up being the answer to both Lauren and Andrew's prayers. Both the bride and groom grew up in households with parents that exemplified true love, partnership, team work and most importantly friendship. They demonstrated the strong core values of family, responsibility, hard work, compassion and love. Andrew and Lauren both yearned to find the missing piece of their puzzle, the person who not only understood them in and out, but the person who would stand by their side through the good times, the hard times and the fun times. The friend you could fall in love with and grow old with. After exchanging numbers and meeting at Conshohocken's finest sports pub, Flanigan's Boathouse, the rest was history. What was their first meeting soon turned into weekly date nights, daily FaceTimes and endless laughs. As time continued they soon realized, this was it. They found the missing piece, or person, of the puzzle that they were searching for since they were little. Two halves that were finally whole. The couple began officially dating May 1st, 2022, a romantic post-kickball game gesture, after a win of course. As weeks and months passed by, it was harder to be apart than it was to send play by play daily updates and FaceTimes. The couple decided it was time to take the next step, live together in Conshohocken, PA. After two and a half years of dating and over a year of living together, Andrew popped the question in front of the Christmas tree in Philadelphia's Christmas Village. December 15th, 2024 will be forever closely cherished in the couples hearts. Lauren and Andrew's immediate families even dedicated the evening to surprising Lauren and celebrating their engagement at Giuseppe and Son's restaurant. Liz and Jake dressed up incognito during the engagement to capture their special moment. Truly a night they will never forget. Although silly, a very special thanks to "the dating app that is meant to be deleted," Hinge. A slogan that truly worked for our love story. We find it funny that a swipe was all it took to find each other, but how lucky are we that was all it took. And the rest is history!
