Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of parking at the venue but we advise taking the shuttle or carpooling if possible. Cars left on site have to be picked up by 8 a.m. the next morning.

How do we get on the shuttle?

Answer

We have two shuttle buses leaving from Best Western and Hampton Inn available to all guests. Both shuttles are departing at 3:20 p.m. sharp—show up early to get the best seats! Pick up locations: - Best Western Hood River Plus: 1108 E Marina Dr, Hood River, OR 97031 - Hampton Inn: 1 Nichols Pkwy, Hood River, OR 97031 The shuttle buses will take people back to both hotels and the Oak Street Pub starting at 9 p.m.

What should I wear?

Answer

Think cocktail party. The wedding is at a pear orchard and the ceremony is on the lawn. We recommend wearing suitable shoes or bringing an extra pair for dancing. This is not a black tie affair but also not a backyard barbecue. :)

Can you get an Uber or Lyft in Hood River?

Answer

Unfortunately, neither Uber or Lyft are available in Hood River. The local cab companies also have limited availability. If you're unsure about driving to the venue we recommend taking the shuttle bus!

What's the mask policy?

Answer

Masks will be available to all guests but are not required. We encourage guests to wear masks and take additional COVID precautions as best fit your needs.

Is the Hood River-White Salmon Bridge really closed the weekend of June 24-26?

Answer

Sadly, yes. Constant June spring pushed the planned maintenance closure back from June 10-12 to the weekend of our wedding. The closure will now take place beginning at 12:01 a.m. the morning of Friday, June 24 through 11:59 p.m. the night of Sunday, June 26. Any guests who want to head to Washington can cross the Columbia River on either The Dalles Bridge or the Bridge of the Gods.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please send us an email if you have a food allergy and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. The meal will be served family style and there will be many options for dinner. Most menu items will be gluten free.
