They say love finds you when you least expect it… and apparently ours showed up in cowboy boots while two stepping at a country bar called The Brandin' Iron in San Berardino, Ca. Paxton was stationed in California at 29 Palms with the United States Marine Corps, and Tarah was finishing college when we met on February 10, 2018. What started as weekend line dancing quickly turned into beach dates, road trips, late-night talks, and realizing we never wanted to stop doing life together. After one very spontaneous cross-country road trip to Georgia, so Paxton could see his family and friends and so Tarah could meet his family, Tarah fell in love with the South, and with building a life together. Instead of road tripping back to California, we decided to stay in Georgia and build a life here. Since then, we’ve filled our life with morning coffee dates, road trips, TV marathons, exploring new cities & new restaurants, and spending time with our two spoiled cats, Luna and Loki. On July 31, 2024, Paxton proposed at Tallulah Falls, and now we can’t wait to celebrate forever with all of our favorite people!
