When Zach and I met September 27th 2019 we both knew this was it. We made a long distance relationship work for a year and a half, traveling the 4 hours between us on the weekends and building a solid relationship through trust and communication. In 2020 we made the decision to start looking for a house so we could really begin our lives together. In May of 2021 we purchased a house in Spring Green Wisconsin and merged our families into one. Together Zach and I have 5 beautiful boys, Liam, Sean, Dominic, Winston, and Conor and two dogs, Roxie & Pablo. On December 31st 2023 Zach finally popped the question in the most beautiful way. Since 2019 Zach has taken me to Madison to see the Christmas lights, always stopping by the same house. On this night, Zach reached out to the owner of the house and asked if he could incorporate his proposal into the light show. Much to my surprise, the light show suddenly said "Welcome Tara and Zach" and then quickly changed to " Marry me Tarra" (yes my name was spelled wrong, but it just makes it that much more memorable!) We have focused our relationship around the importance of love, family, and quality time. Which is why it makes sense to have a more intimate wedding in Prescott Wisconsin at my parent’s home surrounded by the people we love most.
