Due to a combination of COVID and Military Orders, we have decided to move forward with our wedding sooner rather than later. In light of this, we are moving forward with a small, intimate wedding on May 29th, 2021. However, due to COVID restrictions we are severely limited in the number of people that we can invite to celebrate with us in person. Because of this, we will be live streaming the ceremony via Zoom so that all of our friends and family can still witness the wedding. There will also be some sort of virtual reception either the Sunday or Monday following the wedding, so that we can take the time to talk to and properly thank everyone for joining with us to celebrate. Please watch this space for more information on the virtual events. All our love - Tara & Zach
Tara and Zach met on Bumble - an online dating app. Zach swiped right, but Tara was more particular and actually read Zach's profile...and then swiped right! But then it took nearly four weeks before the actual first date because Tara got sick (and hence became known to Zach's friends as "Sick Girl"). Zach had been doing online dating for a while and thought this was just the old fashioned brush off. But, confusingly, Tara continued messaging and chatting. Weirdest brush off ever. Eventually Tara recovered from her bout with the plague and they set a time and location for their First Date. They ended up closing down the restaurant (or rather, stayed an hour past closing and were then gently asked to leave), but when you're meeting the person you're going to marry, conversation takes some time!
