Our Story
What are the odds of a boy from small town New York and a girl from Serbia meeting on a small college campus in Granville, Ohio? Pretty small, but I guess we got lucky. We both shared a dream of swimming on a high level in college and we are forever grateful that this sport got us together. We locked eyes on move in day, freshman year, and since then shared a wild journey together. When pandemic hit our freshman year, Trey's family offered Tara a home when she couldn't go to her home. We spent summers apart, living continents away, and even 2 years of long distance. But in betweed all of that, we shared a few of the most magical years on Denison's campus and we knew God had a plan for us. We both chased our dreams, pursued D1 swimming at LSU and Pitt and eventually found our way back together in none other than Ohio. Trey got on one knee on August 15, 2025 and the adventure never stopped since.
