FAQs

Question

Will there be transportation provided?

Answer

Unfortunately we will not be providing transportation as there are too many people coming from different places. There is a parking lot at the venue, but if able, carpooling would be your best bet.

Question

What if I have a food allergy/preference?

Answer

Well luckily for you the bride and MOH also have food allergies so if you are allergic to gluten we have you covered! Most of our meal provided is gluten free aside from the Mac n Cheese and Dinner Rolls and it is buffet style catering so you don’t have to worry about those options finding themselves on your plate if you do not wish. Also, since the bride is gluten free it wouldn’t make sense to not have a gluten free cake as well! Anyone who would prefer the gluten free cake to the regular one is more than welcome to a slice. We will also have a salad bar for everyone to enjoy including anyone vegetarian. If you have any other food allergies/preferences please let the bride know prior to the wedding so we have an opportunity to try to work something out for you!

Question

I am interested in staying the night in one of the cabins on the property. What is the deal with those?

Answer

We are glad you asked! There are 11 cabins available for the night of the wedding (unfortunately we cannot utilize them the day before or day after the wedding due to other weddings scheduled) gates open at 3pm day of the wedding and at that time the cabins will be available. Each cabin can hold 4 people and has a queen size bed and bunk beds. If you would like a cabin please let the bride or groom know so we can plan accordingly. You will need to bring your own linen and pillows as well as toiletries. There is a community bathroom, fire pit (so the party can keep going), picnic tables, and showers located near the cabins. Check out time is 9am. It will be first come first serve for the cabins, so please let us know if you are interested!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

You can be as formal or as casual as you would like, the most important thing is that you are there to celebrate our big day with us!

Question

What are the wedding colors?

Answer

Our wedding colors are Burgundy, Navy Blue, and an accent color of Silver

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

We would love to celebrate the day with you and your mini(s)! If you are breastfeeding or your child is fussy or even if you just need a private place to change them, we will have a few different getaways located on the property for you to have some privacy with your little one(s)!

Question

Can I request a song played at the reception?

Answer

Yes! We created a spot on the RSVP card to personally request a song so the bride and groom can add it to the lineup. We aren’t sure if the DJ will be taking requests at the venue, so this is your best bet. We cannot make any guarantees that your song will be added to the scheduled lineup, but we will try our best to accommodate. ***Keep in mind there will be children at this event, so if you request anything explicit, it probably won’t get played in respect to the parents***

Question

What if I can’t dance?

Answer

The bride can’t either so you’ll fit right in!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! However, we will only be serving beer, wine, and champagne

Question

Will there be security?

Answer

Yes. The venue will be providing a police officer on-site from gates open to close

Question

What if I have trouble getting around?

Answer

The venue has a golf cart available to anyone who needs extra assistance getting from the parking lot to the ceremony site

Question

What’s the seating arrangement like for the ceremony?

Answer

The first two rows of each side will be reserved for immediate family. For everyone else sit wherever you prefer. We don’t want to choose sides because you’re loved by both the groom and the bride!
