What is a cocktail party reception?

Answer

A cocktail party reception is a type of reception where no formal sit down meal is served. Instead, we will have a variety of passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour and a plethora of food stations for you to enjoy throughout the evening.

Answer

Yes! And table numbers and seating chart will be at the venue to help you find your table.

Are my kids invited to the reception?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, this is an adult only affair! We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Will there be a shuttle to the Church?

Answer

Yes, we have arranged for a shuttle to take guests from both hotels to the church and back! Time: 2:45

Will there be a shuttle to the Reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be one shuttle running continuously from the hotels to the venue. However, the venue is across the street from the Westin and a short walk from the Courtyard, so it is definitely walkable!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Battello offers parking, but it is very limited. There is a parking garage across the street (the garage affiliated with the Westin hotel) which offers both valet and self parking.

Is there parking at the church?

Answer

The church does not have a dedicated parking lot, so we recommend grabbing a shuttle from one of the hotels. If you are planning to drive, please give yourself a little extra time to find street parking.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head back to the hotel to pre-game, change, and/or put on their dancing shoes! Cocktail hour at Battello starts at 6:00pm.

Are Ubers easy to get in the area?

Answer

Whether getting to and from the airport, hotels, church, or venue, Ubers and Lyfts are very easy to get in Jersey City!

Is there an after party?

Answer

Seriously? Of course! After party will immediately follow the reception at Battello from 11:00pm-1:00am.
