28 years later...

We met as kids (5 and 7) and neighbors in Hawaii in the early 1990s. We both grew up in military families and after a couple years of friendship, were separated by a move to different states. Fast forward to May 2015 and I found a DM from a cute random guy written a year earlier. That message and the conversation that followed sent us both down memory lane and we instantly connected. Days and nights of texting and hours long phone conversations eventually led to a road trip and plane ride half way across the country for visits. We spent 2.5 years in a long distance relationship followed by Quentin making the move to Virginia from Minnesota. After a simple, mutual proposal in our living room during the crazy pandemic of 2020 we are finally making our commitments official! Being each other's first kiss and last- Our story is like one from a movie, at times, unbelievable.
