Rolling into Forever

Our story began in the summer of 2012 when we met for the first time at a mutual friend’s house in Sammamish, WA. We became instant friends, spending nearly every day together — and usually without planning, thanks to all our shared friends (and the universe working in our favor!). After a lot of patience and persistence from Peter (and many pep talks from our friends), Tara finally agreed to go on a date with Peter on Valentine’s Day 2013. By the end of the night, she knew it was something more. About a week later, we made it official! Here we are, nearly 12 years later — we’ve graduated high school, moved to Bellingham, earned our college degrees, traveled across the world, started our careers, and made unforgettable memories (check out some of our favorite moments in our gallery!). We’ve accomplished so much and are incredibly proud of the life we’ve built together. Now, we’re ready for the next chapter! On February 4th, 2024, Peter proposed to Tara at the top of the chairlift during another incredible ski day at Stevens Pass. It was perfect, and of course, she said yes! We can’t wait to celebrate on August 3rd, 2025, at Fox Hollow Farm in Issaquah, WA, with our favorite people on the planet!
