Walk down to the docks behind Tween Waters Inn and keep your eyes out for manatees, especially in the morning or around sunset. It’s such a peaceful and magical moment when you see one!

Home to Captiva Cruises if you have time and are looking to get out on the water we recommend booking a cruise! Book a trip to Cabbage Key and grab lunch, check out the shells on Cayo Casta, or see the wildlife in action on the Dolphin and Wildlife cruise. We haven't had a bad time on these cruises!

J.N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge

J.N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge, on the subtropical barrier island of Sanibel, is part of the largest undeveloped mangrove ecosystem in the United States. It is world famous for spectacular migratory bird populations. You can rent kayaks, ride your bike through, or even drive through. It's worth checking out!
