What should I wear to the dam hoi?

Answer

Our welcome party will be outdoors in the terrace area of the hotel. Ao dais are encouraged for this event. If you do not plan to wear an ao dai, dresses or business casual work perfectly for this event! Average temperature during late October is about 70 degrees.

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding will be formal attire. Fun mini, midi, and floor length dresses are all welcome and suits are perfect for the occasion! The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors and our reception will be indoors with access to the cocktail hour outdoor area. Average temperature during late October is about 70 degrees. Please do not wear white, and yes, a white dress with a floral print is still considered white.

If I don't want to stay at the Hyatt, where else can I stay?

Answer

We would love if everyone could stay near or around our chosen wedding hotel, the Hyatt Regency in La Jolla. Other hotels nearby include Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa and the San Diego Marriott La Jolla. An Airbnb in La Jolla is also a great option!

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception are adult only events. If you decide to bring your children for the weekend they are welcome to attend the dam hoi and day after event.
