We're so excited to celebrate with you!

Tara and Matt met at a crowded bar in Washington DC in December 2015. After that, the world was simply never the same...The stars aligned. The planetary rotation halted, if only for a moment. The angels wept with joy! Even the smallest critters burrowing for warmth raised their heads from under the frosty soil for a moment of respite, and a preview of the glee that was to come. Their slumber could wait, for they could sense that a bountiful harvest was on the horizon. For their first date, Tara and Matt went out to a ramen restaurant. Tara did not like the ramen very much. Matt was very awkward and nervous that night, and talked about food most of the time because he wasn't used to liking anyone this much. Afterward, they went out for a game of ping-pong. Matt went easy on Tara, not realizing that this small girl would be a good athlete...he lost the game. They shared many laughs and loved spending time with each other. Matt is "salty" (the unabashed realist) and Tara is "sweet" (the proud idealist). And it's true--the two make a devilishly delectable combination, rivaling the world's most popular candy bars. Their differences really complement each other. Matt and Tara have traveled the world and enjoyed awesome adventures together. They trekked Machu Picchu, without showering for 4 days...and yet they still like each other! Over the past few years, they've enjoyed exploring the beaches and mountains of New England. Matt recently proposed to Tara over a game of cribbage (her favorite card game). Matt thought he was being slick, by placing the engagement ring in the box of cards. Tara misunderstood and assumed Matt was just being spacey, and this placement of the ring was unintentional. After the initial (and quite prolonged) confusion, she said YES! They are so excited to marry each other.
