Fisherman's Wharf area
1:00 pm - 3:30 pm
No obligation to join us, but we will be beginning our day at the Ferry Building and enjoying the walk up the Embarcadero toward Fisherman's Wharf (1.5 miles), to explore and have fun before we check in for the boat. If you'd like to join us, please do! We'll plan to meet in front of the Ferry Building at 1pm. Fun things in the area: Ferry Building, Exploratorium Museum, Boudin Bakery, Ghirardelli Square, Buena Vista (irish coffee!), sea lions at pier 39, Musee Mecanique and more.
Boat Ride Under the Bridge
3:15 pm - 4:30 pm

Expect some bumps on the boat - comfortable and flat shoes are encouraged. It also tends to get breezy, so an overcoat or warm sweater is recommended as well.
The boat departs at 3:30 – plan to arrive a bit early to find the pier with ease. It may get bumpy, so we suggest comfy, flat shoes. The breeze on the water can be chilly, so bring a cozy layer just in case. After the ride, you'll have an hour to explore the Wharf before heading to the restaurant, just a 5-minute walk away.
Dinner at Scoma's
5:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Scoma's is a member of the Sustainable Seafood Alliance and is all about supporting local fishers. They always have at least a handful of local, freshly caught options on menu. With that said, we will not know the catch of the day until closer to. Examples of past dishes include: local black cod and local sole.
Zeitgeist (or similar) - unofficial after-party
9:30 pm - 11:30 pm
Once dinner is finished, a group of us will grab a night cap at a local dive bar. Location will be finalized closer to. **This is a no-host event, but anyone is welcome to still join at personal expense.
