No reservations at this incredibly popular restaurant, so just make sure you are prepared for a wait after putting your name in (we recommend hopping next door for a beer at Lone Wolf). The cheeseburger is worth it, though! Also highly recommend the crispy potato hash and duck heart gravy.
The perfect way to spend a day admiring the best architectural sites in the city. Bonus points if you can spot the hotels that Simeone Deary Design Group worked on. Tara likes to take credit even though it turns out HR isn't actually involved in the interior design.
The perfect dive bar (that's actually nicer than a dive bar).
Great museum - say 'hi' to Sue the T-Rex while you're here! The park surrounding the museum campus is also a nice place for a walk in good weather.
Excellent place to go for a stroll or a longer run. Multiple access points in Grant Park east of Lake Shore Drive.
A great place to get a view of the city's Magnificent Mile from the 94th floor.
Lots of amazing artwork here - check out Chagall's windows!
A lovely place to grab a drink and a bite to eat in the West Loop.
This redeveloped warehouse district near the wedding venue has tons of the city's best restaurants, bars, and shopping.
One of Kevin's favorite coffee shops - you have to try the nutella latte! Also conveniently located near the 606 bicycle/pedestrian trail, which was built on an abandoned elevated rail line.
Make a pilgrimage to the place where Kevin and Tara had their first date! Tara recommends the spicy tuna crunch, firecracker, and sweet potato rolls. Kevin doesn't love sushi... but the restaurant is BYOB!
Another delicious spot in the West Loop for brunch, lunch or dinner!
Salted Peanut Butter with Chocolate Flecks and Gooey Butter Cake are two of our favorite flavors! ...And it's only a 10 minute walk from the hotel.
