Hall and Ceremony Locations

Answer

The Ceremony and Hall are located in the Highlands area, which is a beautiful, forested area with wildlife. Please do not wander beyond the Ceremony or Hall grounds and make sure that children do not wander unattended. Please note that the ceremony location is a designated Heritage site and they ask that the fruit trees not be climbed upon, or any fruit picked. Smoking is not allowed on the grounds of either location; however, for those that do smoke, there will be an area for you to do so.

Vancouver Island weather is moody. One minute there is hot hot heat, and the next a breeze comes through that quickly becomes a chilly draft. There will not be rain! Not on this day, people! Generally, early August is gloriously warm, but it will be cool in the evenings; thus, bring da layers!

Footwear Facts

Answer

Parts of the ceremony location and hall grounds may not be suitable for certain kinds of footwear due to their natural surroundings, some uneven surfaces, and gravel, i.e., not stiletto/high-heel friendly.

If you have any food allergies, please reach out to us and we will let our caterer know. Our menu only has a few items that are not gluten-free. We are still working on additional non meat options. We are offering a Host bar.
