Downtown
Pictured is Gay Street and the Tennessee Theatre! This is downtown's main street - I recommend at least driving through! I also recommend Market Square, a walking around shopping restaurant center off of Gay Street in downtown. Parking is very easy at Market Square garage, either free or less than $5.
World's Fair Park
Also in downtown, you can pay to go in the ball!
Norris Dam State Park
Less than a 10 minute drive from the Clinton hotels. Must see sights at the lookout point across the bridge. Hiking trails and an old grist mill. Free and easy!
Museum of Appalachia
Less than 10 minute drive from Clinton hotels. Learn about Appalachian history for an admission fee.
Big Ridge State Park
Beautiful state park with lake views and walking trails. Free and easy and a 2 minute drive from our house and a 20 minute drive from Clinton hotels. Check it out before or after the get together!
Waterside Marina
Beautiful up close lake views and only a 13 minute drive from Clinton hotels. I highly recommend swinging by!
Meads Quarry
Lots of cool man made water holes surrounding downtown Knoxville. Meads Quarry, Ijams Quarry, and Fort Dickerson. Hiking trails and great views. All free.
University of Tennesee and Neyland Stadium
Right in downtown- cross the Henley Street Bridge for some great University of Tennessee Football and downtown views.
University of Tennessee Medical Center
Now, I wouldn't recommend visiting unless you're experiencing a medical emergency, but you will pass Isaiah and I's workplace on the drive from the airport - don't forget to catch a glance!
